Now that the Shelter in Place (SIP) orders are shifting, our offerings and capabilities have been updated. We are pleased to offer Skin Cancer Excisions, Surgeries, and other treatments at SMD again!
Who is able to schedule?
Patients with a personal history of skin cancer (melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma) who are due for their annual or semiannual Full Body Skin Examination (FBSE) are now welcome to schedule and be seen in person.
Patients with a past history of skin cancer who also currently have a suspicious lesion will be given priority.
Patients with a suspicious lesion (newly changing in size/color/shape or painful/itchy) may also be evaluated in person after it’s evaluated with a TeleHealth visit online. (This will ensure in-person appointments are reserved for the most urgent concerns. Thank you for your understanding.)
All urgent issues (infections, shingles, blistering, lacerations, painful conditions) will be addressed in person as well, as appropriate.
We are elated to be able to provide more in-person essential services to our patients.
We are always available.
We will continue to be available for Video TeleHealth visits. We envision the “new-normal” to be TeleHealth for acne, rosacea, rashes, psoriasis, AND eczema. We are well positioned to take care of these concerns remotely.
