What is Botox
Botox is one of the most popular cosmetic treatments around the world. It’s a relatively straight forward treatment and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Botox restricts the repetitive muscle movement that causes wrinkles to form. The most common areas to be treated with Botox are the forehead, between the brows (often referred to as the “11’s”) and crows feet.
Furthermore, Botox is also used to treat many medical conditions such as chronic migraines and severe primary axillary hyperhidrosis (severe underarm sweating). With any cosmetic treatment, there are potential risks or contraindications. We recommend seeing a board certified dermatologist or physician assistant who has extensive, specialized training to treat all areas of your skin.
