SMD is pleased to announce Virtual TeleHealth Video Visits.
TeleHealth visits are easy and now billed to insurance!
- To get started:
- Download the PocketPatient App (be sure to: enable “Push” notifications, Audio and Video access)
- Next, NEW and Existing patients, please call SMD 415-887-9758 requesting to obtain TeleHealth access. You will receive our Voicemail. Please be sure to leave a voicemail in which you will 1. Request TeleHealth Visit and 2. Confirm your preferred email address. From here, our staff will get the ball rolling!
- The staff will email you the TeleHealth Visit link. Please open this email link on your smartphone.
- Now you will be able to successfully open and use the PocketPatient App. You may attach photos for your provider here. Your provider can review them prior to your Virtual TeleHealth video visit.
- The staff will contact you to set up an appointment time for your Virtual TeleHealth Video visit. It’s that easy! We look forward to seeing you!
- You may always contact your SMD Provider through the messaging section of your current EMA Patient Portal.
- This works for existing patients.
- You may now attach photos for evaluation (new!)
- If you need help getting on your portal, call our staff at 415-887-9758
- You may reset your password via the EMA Patient Portal link
